Grief

Grief was part of my personal life before it became part of my professional work. My therapeutic approach to grief is informed largely by the lessons I have learned growing up amidst a community of widows and their families; lessons about what it means to navigate loss, and how crucial it is to not be alone in the process. I have experience working with traumatic grief, and frequently work with clients experiencing the loss of parents, spouses, friends, and pets, as well as loss in LGBTQ communities.

I enjoy working with clients interested in exploring spiritual beliefs in relation to their processing of loss, including topics such as reincarnation, exploring the subconscious, and the mind-body-spirit connection.
