Nobska Goodhue, LICSW
Nobska Goodhue, LICSW (she/her) received her Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, earning both Trauma and Neuroscience in Social Work Certifications. She specializes in treating anxiety and trauma, and working with LGBTQ+ and young adult populations. Her practice operates according to strengths-based and person-in-environment approaches, emphasizing holistic well-being rooted in the intersection of neurobiology and mental health. Nobska is passionate about providing trauma-informed and client-centered care from a place of cultural humility. Her practice draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), interpersonal and mindfulness techniques, psychodynamic theory, Acceptance/Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Nobska has extensive experience working with childhood and adult trauma survivors, specifically within the contexts of attachment, interpersonal trauma, and sexual violence. Further clinical experience includes student mental health, identity work, and relationship challenges. Nobska’s work with clients is firmly grounded in intersectional feminist and queer theories with the understanding that clients are the experts in their own experiences. Nobska strives to create a warm, supportive, and safe therapeutic space.
